Myleene Klass – Miscarriage Campaign

I filmed a piece for ITV at Birmingham Women’s Hospital about Myleen Klass’s campaign to change miscarriage laws, along with an interview with Myleene herself. She and other campaigners have successfully lobbied Government, so in the future women won’t have to go through 3 miscarriages before they receive any help. Instead, they’ll receive support after the first miscarriage. The charity, Tommy’s, which has a Support Centre based at the hospital, has a pilot scheme of care already underway. It is trialling a graded model of care for women after their first miscarriage. Myleene has been a long standing campaigner for change after having to endure four miscarriages herself.
