I’ve been out and about working for the BBC again over the past week. A variety of stories covered including a scheme to offer taxi drivers in Chippenham free military grade bandages to be used in case of fights and stabbings, etc.
I also filmed at a school in Somerset that is part of a scheme to identify and help young carers. Often due to having help parents/grandparents at home, the youngsters struggle and sometimes fall behind at school. If the teachers are aware of the situation, they can offer tailored help through the scheme. They were also taking part in a video being made to raise awareness of the scheme as well. I used my Sony A7s iii camera for the filming this week.
